This week we will be studying: Writing:  Students will be working on persuasive writing.  In reading, we are reviewing reading strategies and genres.. Students will also be working on STAAR review reading and questions, and completing Book Bingo sheets and working on Daily 5 activities.   This week for Social Studies, we will start a unit on economics.  We will be reading about and discussing inventors and entrepreneurs.

  • Homework - April 24th - April 28th
  • Homework is due each Friday

  • Pronouns "I and me" packet.  Please help your child review the rule for using I and me when writing.  Homework is due on Friday.  Students will take a test over the use of I and me on Friday.
  • Please continue to have your child read for at least 20 minutes each night.  We are trying to build stamina, vocabulary, and comprehension in reading.

  • Reading for 20 - 30 minutes each night - Please record in the reading log and turn in Scholar Dollars
